This hat is completely hand made, not merely an embellished storebought hat.  It is constructed of two layers of heavy felt bonded with two layers of heavy cotton-backed black velvet.  The band is molded felt. There is room to add padding for a smaller head. There are paracord ties that hold the sides, they can be lowered. The trims are all hand stitched. The large ribbon rosette is hand braided satin. Similar hats sell on Etsy for much more.

The wig is actually two wigs that have been hand wefted together and styled into sausage curls (using the boil method and sprayed, they are sturdy, not delicate.)

The pirate hook is made of plastic and heavy wire covered in vinyl leatherette and ribbon. It has a bar across the inside to hold on to.

The 40" sword (pvc stick covered in duct tape for our student production) are included as a bonus FOR PICK UP ONLY. I cannot ship it.
